14 November 2006 CAM Software Vendor Makes Free-Trial Offer
Delcam is offering a free evaluation copy of its FeatureCAM feature-based computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) system through a new, redesigned website at www.featurecam.com. The evaluation version of the software includes all of the feature-based and knowledge-based programming options available in the 2007 release, but it does not allow programmes to be saved or output. The new design of the dedicated website preserves all of the elements provided previously. However, navigation is easier, and the areas for downloads, news, events, and case studies have been expanded. The site follows the style of other Delcam websites. It offers information and forums on the wide range of CAD/CAM products now available from the software development company. “We wanted to provide our customers, and those looking at CAM software, with a resource for FeatureCAM information,” says Randy Wightman, vice president of sales and marketing at Delcam, “and we also wanted to expand that to include information and download options for the breadth of solutions that Delcam offers.” For further information: Delcam plc
