1 October 2008 Euro PM2009 Set for Copenhagen
The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has announced that Euro PM2009, the international conference and exhibition for the powder metallurgy (PM) industry in Europe, will be held next year in Copenhagen, Denmark. The conference dates are October 12–14, 2009. The venue for Euro PM2009, the 18th in the series of annual events, will be Bella Centre, the Copenhagen congress centre. The conference offers a full programme of both orally presented and poster-mounted papers that cover all aspects of powder metallurgy, including structural parts, hard materials and metal injection moulding. EPMA executive director Jonathan Wroe reports that the association is planning a complete programme of technical sessions, special workshops, and meetings on key PM industry topics. The 2009 event coincides with EPMA’s celebration of its 20th anniversary. The association was formed in Brussels in 1989 to promote and develop PM technology in Europe and to represent the European PM industry within the continent and internationally. It serves all types of PM companies and organizations, from component, metal powder, and equipment producers to end users, research centres, universities, and individuals who have an interest in powder metallurgy. Further information on the Euro PM2009 Congress & Exhibition will be posted at the EPMA website as it becomes available. For further information: Euro PM2009
