27 October 2009 Mold-Masters Opens New Sales/Service Office in Spain
The global hot runner and temperature control technology leader Mold-Masters recently set up direct sales infrastructure and a new office near Barcelona, Spain. This expression of the company’s global expansion strategy will strengthen Canada-based Mold-Masters’ position in Europe as well as improve customer service to Iberia. Until the end of this September, Mold-Masters’ Spanish market had been maintained by a long-term agency. However, the manufacturers’ growth plans led to decision in the mutual decision not to renew the distribution agreement. All sales and services since October 1 have been handled by Mold-Masters directly. The hot runner specialists at the new office, Mold-Masters España in Hospitalet de Llobregat, are mainly the same team as before. This ensures a smooth transition for all existing customers. The new office provides closer interaction with local customers and a timely response to any incoming request. Using established resources and highly skilled people, Mold-Masters continues to make its complete hot runner product and service portfolio available to this important market. “Spain has a growing importance for our global hot runner business, and we are excited to now have taken over direct responsibilities for this market,” says Hans Hagelstein, managing director of Mold-Masters’ European headquarters in Germany.
