The German trade fair organizers fairXperts GmbH have announced the creation of a new manufacturing show for extrusion technology, XtRUSA, which will take place for the first time June 14–16, 2005, in Nuremberg.
Extrusion technology plays an increasingly significant role today in food production, aluminum processing, the treatment of innovative renewable raw materials, and many other areas. In launching this event, fairXperts are hoping to achieve a sector-wide international platform for the entire process chain of extrusion technology. The show's slogan will be "Extrusion: innovative process technology, not just for plastics."
XtRUSA 2005 will present extrusion technology in a form that is not simply oriented towards limited target groups and materials, but will be packaged as an innovative forum for a wide range of existing and possible applications. The aim is to promote dialogue between suppliers and users, to provide the impetus for new developments and areas of application, and to emphasize the technical and commercial significance of extrusion technology.
The organizers have chosen the Bavarian city of Nuremberg, in southeastern Germany, as the fair's location because of its international nature and the proximity of the Eastern European markets. Both the trade fair and the city offer affordable prices which will help make participation in XtRUSA 2005 cost-effective for smaller, innovative companies.
