Sodick's AQ75L is the latest and largest linear motor CNC sinker EDM. It features new high thrust linear motors on all three axis for large electrode machining. With a 35.4 x 29.5 in. worktable, travels of 27.5 in. (x), 19.6 in. (y) and 13.7 in. (z), and a maximum workpiece weight of 4,400 lb, the AQ75L is suitable for large size electrodes.
The AQ75L uses the proven LN1/LN10 control to achieve high-level accuracy while performing high-speed machining. Glass scales with a 0.1 µm resolution ensure cutting and positioning accuracy. The rise/fall work tank allows for automation and provides easy access to the work tank.
